Ellen Strange Memorial Walk

Left one of my dollies in the doorway of Holcombe Church at the Ellen Strange Memorial event today arranged by the Endeavour Project - a charity committed to ending domestic abuse.

Ellen Strange was murdered by her husband, John Broadley, on Holcombe Moor on 26 January 1761. Her family/local people raised a pile of stones in her memory.
