Roses Against Violence

Left some purple roses around Bolton town centre today for the #rosesagainstviolence campaign.

The project Roses against violence is open for everybody to join. Pictures are shared via Facebook and Instagram.

The project was founded in November 2018 on the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women and the following 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence.

We use a traditionally feminine handcraft to spread the message. We crochet purple roses and place them visibly in public spaces.
